Anaimudi

Anaimudi (2695 m) is the highest peak in whole of Southern India.

This is a nodal point from which three ranges radiate in different directions.

These ranges are the Annaimalai to the north, the Palni to the north-east and the Cardamom hills or the Elaimalai to the south.

अनैमुदी।

अनैमुदी (Anaimudi) (2695 मीटर) पूरे दक्षिण भारत की सबसे ऊँची चोटी है।

यह एक नोडल बिंदु (nodal point) है जहाँ से तीन पर्वत श्रृंखलाएँ विभिन्न दिशाओं में फैलती हैं।

ये श्रृंखलाएँ उत्तर में अन्नामलाई (Annaimalai), उत्तर-पूर्व में पलनी (Palni) और दक्षिण में कार्डमम हिल्स (Cardamom hills) या इलैमलाई (Elaimalai) हैं।

Satpura

Satpura range is a series of seven mountains.

It runs in an east-west direction between South of the Vindhyas and in between the Narmada and the Tapi rivers.
