Directions for the following 3 (three) itmes: Read the following three passage and answer the itmes that follow the passage. Your answer to these itmes shoud be based on the passages only.

Passage- 1

Sourcing food from non-agricultural lands (uncultivated systems such as forests, wetlands, pastures, etc) in addition to agricultural lands enables a systemic approach to food consumption. It allows rural and tribal communities to sustain themselves for the whole year and steer clear of natural disasters and season-inducted shortfalls of agricultural food. Since the productivity of trees is often more resilient to adverse weather conditions than annual crops, forest foods often provide a safety net during periods of food shortages caused by crop failure; forest foods also make important contributions during seasonal crop production gaps.

निम्नलिखित 3 (तीन) प्रश्नांशों के लिए निर्देश :निम्नलिखित तीन परिच्छेदों को पढ़िए और परिच्छेदों के नीचे आने वाले प्रश्नांशों के उत्तर दीजिए। इन प्रश्नांशों के लिए आपके उत्तर केवल इन परिच्छेदों पर ही आधारित होने चाहिए ।

परिच्छेद-1

कृषि भूमियों के साथ-साथ गैर-कृषि भूमियों (वनों, आर्द्र भूमियों, चरागाहों, आदि जैसी कृषीतर पद्धतियों) को खाद्य का स्रोत बनाना खाद्य उपभोग के प्रति एक तंत्रानुसारी उपागम को सुकर बनाता है। यह ग्रामीण और जनजातीय समुदायों को पूरे वर्ष निर्वाह करने और नैसर्गिक आपदाओं तथा मौसम के कारण होने वाली कृषिजन्य खाद्य की कमियों से बचे रहने में सहायक होता है। चूँकि, वार्षिक फ़सलों की अपेक्षा, प्रतिकूल मौसम दशाओं में वृक्षों में पनपने की प्रायः अधिक क्षमता होती है, फ़सल न होने के कारण हुए खाद्य के अभाव की अवधियों में वन-आधारित खाद्य प्रायः एक सुरक्षा जाल प्रदान करते हैं; वन-आधारित खाद्य मौसमी फसल उत्पादन अंतरालों के बीच भी महत्त्वपूर्ण योगदान करते हैं।
